Day 2. Iceland. The South Ring Road
What a beautiful country! We had blue skies for most of the day, showing off the country's mountains, sea, waterfalls, farmland, and did I mention waterfalls?
Despite crowds of people, standing in the river with camera on tripod gave us the chance for a non-people populated scene. Junko and I decided to both post this scene for today's image -- it was one of the more spectacular ones of the day.

I like your version for its clarity. The rainbow going into the side edge lets you know there's more beyond the frame.
I see how differently ours ended up now -- I had a wider angle on, but you used a faster shutter speed (more than twice as fast as I did) and that's the likely reason for your wonderfully textured water fall. Note to self for tomorrow: play with shutter speed more.
Very interesting to see the difference between this image and the one from @jyokota. I like them both, though this one has quite a different feel to it. I particularly like the strip of glacial moraine leading into the bottom left-hand corner.
By the way, there's another lava shot in my feed...may be a while before I can get to looking much at my shots. My computer seems to have died today. Black screen. I'll see what the computer whiz says. Ouch

Lovely one - rainbows are my top favourite thing in nature.
