Don't Lean Over! by taffy

Don't Lean Over!

Today was the last full day for Pam and Rosie's visit to Chicago and it was pouring, so indoor photography was the order of the day. Following brunch at one of my favorite spots, we (Pam, Rosie, Andie, and I) visited the Marshall Fields building (aka Macy's to some) to shoot atrium views from the 8th floor (see @pamknowler's wide angle shots for the full view): https://365project.org/pamknowler/365-year-5/2017-04-30

Rosie (@rosiekind captured some of the characters we came across:

And Andie, to be different, posted a great shot captured on her way to the train: https://365project.org/ukandie1/365/2017-04-30
So I though I'd post an image of the spot we photographed from.
What a fun week! I'm sad to see my 365-photobuddies leaving! And btw, where did April go???
Love this caged in shot, and how you have made the railings the feature of the shot!

This is fabulous Taffy! I tried to convert a couple of my shots to B&W but it's useless on the Ipad - I need my laptop to be able to edit properly! I think I will have lots to keep me busy over the next few weeks! I love this low down POV - perhaps I should have got down with you to stop feeling dizzy! Lol! Fav! K

So many squares! Fascinating capture

My eyes and going in and out of focus on the front squares like it is an optical illusion! So much stuff going on in there, it is fascinating to look at.

@jgpittenger There were many many fails. I'm really trying to use the in-camera lines and be more sensitive to the center point to stand in the right place to begin with. I find these hard to do! Thanks for your kind words about the quality!

I recognize this wonderful store! Sorry to be so brief, but this is a busy time...craving photo play, and must resist getting sucked in...which is oh-so-easy!
