On our way back to the US, we did one more visit to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, walking along the path that goes the length of the river and falls. While mostly cloudy/overcast, the sun came out with perfect timing to create a rainbow over the horseshoe falls that our boat had traveled toward a few days earlier. Both perspectives were quite humbling!
Thank you for your comments and favs on the royal swan shot, sending it to Top Twenty this week-quite excited to see it there!
The water is such a gorgeous color of green! I was there once in the early spring and it was muddy and brown - this color green makes it picture-perfect!
The color of the water is glorious! And the rainbow is spectacular! I don't know why, but your name always falls off my follow list? Anyway, I'm back on it.
That pov is a completely different view of this famous place that, IMHO, gives a better impression of the size, power and majesty of the falls. 'Humbling' sums up my feeling precisely. The colour of the water is a beautiful green too.
@pamknowler I was so glad we had a second opportunity to spend time on the Canadian side. It was really a treat. Looking forward to Nova Scotia pictures!
Superb shot, Taffy. I was there in October, staying with a friend near Buffalo, though not posting on 365 at the time. The Falls are certainly magnificent to see and experience.
an impressive shot of the falls - and how serendipitous to capture the rainbow! i really must get out there one of these days... it's really not that far for me... but for some reason, i have never made it happen...
