Good Neighbors

No need to comment, document shot.
Staying at Bill and Junko's, I walked in their neighborhood tonight and happened on this sight...A few blocks from their house, these homeowners have created an herb garden in the front of their home. The sign invites neighbors to clip herbs as needed, and gives directions about how to do so. Plants ready to be clipped are marked with a white ribbon. What a nice neighbor to have!

Great concept - even city councils seem to be adopting this idea - Brisbane has a large public herb garden in the CBD. So good.

Also a brilliant way to make sure they keep growing to get them constantly clipped! Masterstroke - you make people happy and develop a sense of community and at the same time, they look after this patch of your garden for you!

most neighbourly. We have a herb garden planted in the middle of a roundabout locally, residents are invited to help themselves and a committee manages the upkeep and care of it.
