Quick update:
16,000 steps a day on average, without exercising - just unpacking and setting up!
LOVE being home at long last and so worth the wait!
Very tired of unpacking and setting up, but plowing ahead.
Renovation is not done (due to cabinet-maker delays) and boxes intrude everywhere so couldn't bring myself to post an interior shot. This was taken today with iPhone from the new location of the Apple Store on rainy walk home from a doctor's appointment. It was great to have a break from unpacking and setting up!
Cooked our first meal in our new home tonight -- salmon, broccoli, rice, caprice salad, chardonnay, and looking ahead to having a piece of chocolate. Life is good even without a finished reno.

@jyokota Next to the Tribune Tower, across from the Wrigley building, on the east side of Michigan Ave next to the river. Quite the site. Do you get home Friday or Saturday (we'll be up on Friday late morning to pick up more things...)
