Rrrrrrrroarrrrrrrr!

Tiger from our recent zoo trip. Given some help from Topaz Textures to deal with a most uninteresting backdrop. Thank you for your positive comments about the lioness buddies. They posed for quite a while, keeping their bodies still and close and just turning their heads.
bengal looks unforgivingly ferocious. the one we have here at the zoo makes me nervous every time i see it and it's in a totally enclosed area (unlike the lions). you definitely captured its personality here and i better leave before it leaps at me! aces, miss taffy!

I adore big cats. Such beauty and ferocious power wrapped up in one.
PS is Topaz Textures a separate program in its own right or part of PhotoShop or something? I've seen you use it but didn't actually know what it was.

Now you make me think of going back to the Gray animal park.

Beautifully executed- it looks like you're on safari.

He is such a beauty and you have done well in getting rid of his horrible enclosure! I didn’t like seeing him prowling up and down in front of the public viewing window!
November 18th, 2017
Oh wow, he's sure telling everyone not to mess with him! Wonderful image, the texture/s work very well.
November 18th, 2017
striking, a beautiful feline
November 18th, 2017
I wouldn't want to come across him in the wild. A wonderful shot.
November 18th, 2017
@casablanca Topaz Textures is a separate program but works as a plug-in with Lightroom very easily.
November 18th, 2017
You made him look like he's in the wild!
November 18th, 2017
Fierce and soft and beautiful all at the same time. I love how the tail stretches out at the back. There must have been some barrier between you and the tiger! What ever you had to remove or disguise, it looks very convincing.

The spotlight on the face and the muted background create a powerful image. Fav

What an expression you captured -- and what sharp focusing on his face and front body. I'm now thinking that I'd actually like to go to the zoo with you and Andie -- and you know how zoo-resistant I've been!

Great use of textures, really hides the environment he was in, Not that it was bad, but where he kept prowling was not the most photogenic!
