Visited a wildlife park with friends prior to a conference in Tampa. Great time to practice with my superzoom. I thought this looked to be a pretty jovial pelican.
Super photo. I've yet to see a white pelican. If you were at the convention center, my son used to live a few blocks away. Now, he's a few miles. I hope you enjoyed Tampa!
What an amazing shot of his beak- it looks so delicate - much too delicate to do the job it does! He looks a little different to our pelicans too - not as much black.
