Andie and I did a "pedway" (Pedestrian Walkway) tour beneath the city's downtown, connecting government buildings, offices, hotels helping those downtown avoid heavy wind, rain, and other weather elements. After the tour we headed to Millennium Park commenting the bright sun and lack of photo ops. Instead, we found skaters with long shadows and had a great time catching them in motion. I think Andie's post is from the same sequence as this talented skater's graceful jump and twirl.

Individually each image is excellent, as a pair they are even better. Like @ukandie1 you’ve captured such a wonderful sense of motion and the sporting body. Your use of negative space adds significantly to the quality of the image overall.
I just love this. Fab shot. It reminds me of Peter Pan...
"She [Mrs. Darling] returned to the nursery, and found Nana with something in her mouth, which proved to be the boy's shadow. As he leapt at the window Nana had closed it quickly, too late to catch him, but his shadow had not had time to get out; slam went the window and snapped it off.
You may be sure Mrs. Darling examined the shadow carefully, but it was quite the ordinary kind."

Just wonderful.
