I liked the lone figure sitting on Fulton Street in an area quickly undergoing gentrification. By the next block there are chic restaurants and boutiques, with lofts for rent or sale above. This block has lofts but no retail yet on the street level. Processed in SnapArt using pencil sketch.
Wonderful image Taffy and so interesting to see an area of Chicago undergoing such change! I like processing - I thought it was snowing at first and that it must have been cold for the chap sitting there. Fav!
Cool processing! I had the same thought as Pam - why is that person siting out in the weather? But then I clicked on the thumbnail and discovered the pencil sketch effect. Nicely done.
Love the processing, gives the scene an apt grungy feel. I'm very ambivalent about gentrification, more on the negative side than the positive I must confess. So many interesting and accessible places have disappeared.
