Reflection in Wolf Point Tower by taffy

Reflection in Wolf Point Tower

I was struck by how the buildings lining the river bank at the south fork were almost perfectly reflected in the ground to sky mirrored glass windows of the Wolf Point Tower skyscraper. This is the skyscraper that was built in the past 2 years and now blocks our view of the river. At least it has some other use!
Most excellent. I love the wide angle perspective

Your architecture shots are always so impressive, this one being no exception... wonderful.

Love you very funny comment! You have all the city of Chicago laid at your feet and did I just hear you fussing??? Looks like a "lemons to lemonade moment" here!

That is an excellent POV and use of (annoying and intrusive) reflective surfaces. ;)

An amazing image. Looks so good in b&w as it’s easier to focus on the architecture.

A pain in the eye for you but its symmetry really is appealing. nice one.

Such a shame that it's blocking your view. Fantastic reflection.

This is wonderful - I love the slanted buildings - all aiming at that top middle point. In my imagination it looks almost like an alien city. :)

Tom
Sorry about the blocked view but great reflections
February 26th, 2018
Oh, I am sorry you lost your view, but this is at least a little compensation. For today, atleast. Well spotted and lined up for symmetry.
February 26th, 2018
Great capture
February 26th, 2018
Perfect symmetry and very clear. Isn't it annoying when they build something in front of your view.

February 27th, 2018
Outstanding!! The reflection looks just about as real as the real thing. Like you could just jump in there.

It took me a minute to 'see' what was in this shot and I like it very much. Very clever and so symmetrical it's quite uncanny. Fabulous.

February 28th, 2018
@golftragic I had to press up against the glass to get the angle that provided symmetry -- glad you commented on it!

February 28th, 2018
@taffy I looked at this image long and hard and wondered how on earth you'd done that. Great work.
