Andie @ukandie1 and I signed up for the new Chicago Architectural Foundation's tour of Chinatown. For fun, we used the water taxi to get there, traveling from Union Station down the Chicago River to the Chinatown 'depot' (not sure what you call a stop on a river). This was the view, looking back to the city, from a beautiful bright red pedestrian bridge. I converted to b&w as the colors (red bridge, blue sky, rusted bridge, etc) overwhelmed the composition.
Off and on for a bit as we get ready to shift locations to Beaver Island. Still a week to go, but lots to do. Apologies in advance for lack of commenting.
Loving this image Taffy with that fabulous view back to the city. B&w a good choice! Ooh it’s Beaver Island time / looking forward to sunsets and a different kind of image! Safe journey! Xx
So many points of interest in this shot - and all so fabulously clear. And it is so exciting to hear that you are going to Beaver Island soon - I love all of the island shots you take!!
