Despite cloud, fog, and rain, Jane, Junko, and I -- along with our instructor -- managed to have some success at capturing the grandeur of the Grand Canyon just after the sun set (though we never saw the sun).

All hoping for better weather tomorrow!
And don't forget to consider submitting an image to the new b&w challenge: cracks and crevices!
That's an incredible shot Taffy, so much depth and visual interest in one image. The landscape is amazing and this shot shows the complexities of this canyon, and even manages to include a peep at the river. Magic!
This is so beautiful. I was there just after high school and my interest in photography hadn't surfaced yet. Would so love to go back and photograph it now!
Just catching up with you on your travels!! This is somewhere I would love to visit but not if it involves trecking!! LOL!! What a shame about the weather. Hope it improves for your photography!! We have had snow flurries here in Lunenburg but sun in between so very interesting skies. Have fun with the girls!! Say hello from me!!
