This is a test photo, a panorama from left to right using about 10 vertical images. Taken with the Nikon Z7 mirrorless (from my dentist's window - not a bad view!). I was testing the camera using a lens adaptor and my own 50mm. The scene is an overview of Millennium Park, with the Bean chopped off in the foreground (sadly), Pritzger Pavilion in the horizontal center, Maggie Daley children's park beyond, and Lake Michigan. I think the camera did well with details and color. To import to LR required updating to LR8, and now I can't export to PS without first converting to TIFF. Assume I'll have to update that as well. So some glitches. And I had to find a cord to download direct from camera to computer as I can't find the right sized card reader for the SONY XDQ cards (or something like that) that the Nikon requires. I do like the camera a lot...learning curve from Nikon D610 to the Z7 is almost all positive so it has been pretty easy to set up and use. I'll be glad to have my own camera back, but have this one rented through Wednesday.
I need to go to your dentist...what an amazing view!!! I am hating mine right now, and the view does not make it any better...at its best it is congested traffic on North Avenue!
Hahaha, it's so good to see someone else finds photo ops when waiting at the dentist's/doctor's. Love the colours in this shot, and the pov is great, albeit a trifle dizzy-making.
Very nice.
