It was such a beautiful golden hour today that I even ventured onto the balcony (one step out anyway) to take 10 shots, processed using LR pano. Handheld...so I'm rather pleased with the clarity and alignment.
What fabulous light! Such a wonderful view! Well done on hand holding the camera for this pano. Very steady! I haven’t tried LR pano yet. Must give it a go.
Nice lighting and panorama! How was the tonal adjustment across the 10 shots? This looks pretty good at this size, did you have a chance to inspect it at 50% or 100%? I'm always cautious with LR handling the stitching and tonal adjustments.
@mikegifford Yes, I was able to enlarge quite a bit on my screen and it was sharp and seamless in terms of stitching. I had it overlapping by about 70% for each of the 10 images, and am guessing that may have helped. PS is usually much better for for some reason, my LR and PS aren't talking since I updated the LR software.
This is extraordinary! Your television stations would love to show it I know. There are a couple of Dallas photographers who hashtag Dallas and some of the local stations will pick up their image to display during the news and on social media. Your processing skills are awesome.
@newbank First, it's absolutely not too late. I have plenty to work with and can drop in your responses through the rest of this week or early next. BUT, that said, I do have plenty to work with. If you do want to contribute at all, I could use a comment about the role critique played for you on the site, either in the general site, or in the mentor group, or in Beyond 365, or any combination. Totally up to you. I have the presentation mostly planned and partly done and know it will be fine either way. I'm sorry to read that you're not in good place....will check in off-line via email.
@louannwarren Thanks for the idea -- just sent it to NBC but it's not clear how I'll know if it ever gets used. Of course, today is totally fogged in and light snow so it won't be relevant at this point!
