So Far Away

Jim and I are in Washington DC kicking off a little 'road trip' along the east coast for spring break. Despite a very rainy night, we enjoyed what had been billed as a moonlight tour of the city. No moonlight, but some spectacular sights anyway, like the iconic Lincoln Memorial.

Coming to Maine? Dress warmly. Seriously hope you are heading south. There are wonderful sanctuaries in Maryland and migration may have started. Chincoteague Island and Primehook National Wildlife Refuge were great when I visited them last year. So much so I am hoping to return in fall this year.
