On Approach

Just back from a visit with family and catching up. This was taken from the plane's window as we were on approach to landing in Colorado Springs. They had snow last week which made the mountain a bit more interesting than usual at this time of year.

Hope you had a good family visit! It always amazes me when you see the land completely flat right up to the side of the mountain! The houses remind me of that song Little boxes on a hillside - that’s an oldie!

I am going to fav this because I love the contrast and layers. Most of all i love the contrast of the boxy houses contained within a boundary, against the background.
