Had dinner with friends who have a south-facing view. I love the vista they have looking south with the one really dramatic high-rise. The half and half theme this month had me thinking differently about the background -- I'd usually try to frame in thirds.
just thinking about being at the top of that building makes me feel quite queasy. I can't understand why it might never topple over. You were pretty high yourself taking this fine half and half shot too.
@eudora Definitely participate. It's been helpful I think in how I've looked at scenes. And I've only posted a handful, so just doing it for a week probably would be a good start.
This is an absolutely magic shot. The view itself is spectacular, and the photo works very well for a most unusual half and half. Love the way the tall building joins the two halves.
That building really adds to the dramatic view. Excellent half and half shot. For some reason the square format is driving me nuts this year- I should have composed them like this! Great shot!
