No need to comment, as this is more a diary shot. Obviously, it's from Sunday's tournament and while I created the collage (editing other's photos), I didn't take any of the images included except the bottom right, applauding the organizers. Partners randomly drawn, Louis & I came in 3rd.
Oh this is so cool and great shots.......... I started playing Pickleball in July and I love it!
I love playing outside on the tennis courts.,.,,,,,this week we are moving inside to play in the community hall.
At least we won’t have to deal with the wind, rain and humidity! Lol
@ludwigsdiana I'm on the far left in the photo with all the winners, and with my (randomly chosen at the start of the tournament) partner, Louis (who also happens to be good friends of ours) in the center at the bottom. It was a totally fun afternoon!
@pamknowler@photographycrazy@brigette It started in 1965 -- two dads invented it so they and their kids could play together as it's a friendly sport even for beginners. It's name comes from one of the dad's dog, Pickles. It's sort of a cross between tennis, ping pong or table tennis. The court is the size of a badminton court so it takes up less space than a tennis court and the net is a little lower. Right now, it's the fastest growing sport in the U.S.
