Junko's @jyokota daughter was married this weekend and guests were asked to each bring a flower. I bought these a few days early as I wanted them in full bloom for her wedding day. Jim and I were well on our way, almost to the venue, when I realized I'd forgotten to bring them. Fortunately, there was an abundance so these weren't missed.
What a great idea for a wedding, never heard of it before. I guess you and Jim get to enjoy these flowers now. Best wishes to the bride and groom and to our dear friend Junko @jyokota.
Beautiful flowers looking out of the window! I’m sure Junko was delighted to have you back even for a short time. We are looking forward to some of your photos of the wedding. Fav
well I am glad we get to see them and they take their place very well on your window's edge. So much fun to have an escapee. Lovely to hear of Junko's daughter being married - I hope we get a glimpse of the occasion and that it was a huge success, even without your floral contribution.
Beautiful photo. I love your background. Too bad you forgot them. Maybe pop this photo in the mail or be creative with their names and wedding date on it then print and send to them.
@rosiekerr@helenhall@caterina@casablanca@golftragic@pamknowler -- I wondered why I suddenly had new traffic to my old photos today @cjphoto , and now I see why! Thanks for the story @Taffy and yes, it was very nice to see you if only for a moment here and there. I had never heard of this "bring a flower in addition to your joyful selves" idea either but my daughter's hope for a festive and fun "fancy picnic" worked out, despite the rain. Our group photos were all taken outside in the rain but if the bride and groom don't mind, the family being photographed shouldn't either.
