Beginning our Hike

Donegal Bay is known for its beautiful beach and dunes (in contrast to Bonners Landing known for the thick woods and bluffs). Our friends and we headed out on our hike, not knowing we'd be lost in the woods on our return. At this point, we were simply enjoying being on the dunes with a beautiful open view.

Assuming this is the Michigan on and not the Irish one! Not many sand dunes in Ireland. Hard work on the ankles hiking through sand. Looks a fun day though!

@domenicododaro Hehe...yes, I do have my laptop, but at the house. This hike was just one bay over from where we live but that area has a totally different feel. Ours is very wooded, theirs open with all the sand dunes. As we visit friends on the island, we always enjoy how each of us has such a unique view and feel, even within the same little neighborhoods.
