Another photo from yesterday's travels home, coming into O'Hare and struck by the way Chicago and its suburbs are laid out in a grid, and just how flat it is here! This is looking west, so no city skyline (the city and lake are to the east).
I have flown into ORD many times over the years but I can't recall ever landing after dark. However, at the right table you might see a view like this from the bar on the top of the J Hancock building---while sipping your 15 dollar cocktail.
@momzo I laughed at your comment about the $15.00 drink and thought that at least my window seat was free. Then, realized how much I'd paid for the ticket!! Thanks for your comment.
