Lighting of the Trees Parade

About a million people come from all over the world. I heard many languages spoken by visitors as Junko - @jyokota - and I walked along the street figuring out how to get to the other side so we could make it to Navy Pier in time for a meet-up (see photo and commentary in main album - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-11-23 ). Viewed large, all the people show up much better. It was very festive, but crazy crowded. And very very very cold!

It was really wild there last night -- I'm rarely if ever in crowds like this as I tend to avoid them, but it was a great photo op and fun to see all these happy folks and families together ready to celebrate.
