Part of this week's get pushed challenge from @darylo was to photograph certain things remaining on my bucket list -- one was a bird in flight. When I got home this afternoon, I found a small flock of pigeons blocking our front gate. With get-pushed in mind, I had my camera ready as I shooed them away and caught this one in flight over the snow and ice in the road. Ta-da!

@darylo Thank you for the challenge! Instead of seeing the pigeons and being annoyed, I actually sort of chased them around, camera in hand, hoping they would fly. I was soooo excited to see this one actually turned out (the rest were massive blurs).
Beautiful. Love the tail feathers. That's on my bucket list, too. The sea gulls here fascinate me. So far, I haven't gotten a decent shot, but one day......
You did two challenges! Good for you! Nice shot and no easy task. I tried to make two birds go in flight and they just stared me down or flew as soon as I gabe up! We are currently partners again but that may change. After this next week I'm bowing out of get-pushed so I can go for my remaining bucket list items! It's been fun!
