This may be the only photo without indication of being behind the glass. Our temporary condo that is on the 33rd floor has balconies off the living room and bedroom. I crept out in total fear to take a few shots and had discarded them all for being so blurry. But realized one of them was clear. I may never go out there again, so figured I'd post it for the record of having done it. VERY VERY scary!

Awesome such a fantastic view. But I don't think I could have ventured onto the balcony and IF I did .....guaranteed all my shots would have been blurred....!
WOW Taffy what a shot!! What a view!! I can't believe you are able to get outside 33 floors up!! I would never be able to go out there I am sure!! Beautiful night view of Chicago - very brave of you to get it!! Huge Fav!
I'd love to go out on your balcony, as long as there's a railing, I don't believe it would bother me.
Excellent capture, I thought it was done on a tripod, it's so crisp.
Impressive picture of the Windy City! and all the more so since you're none too crazy about being 33 floors up in the air, out on a balcony. A brave gal you are.
Heights make my stomach lurch too if I'm outside! We had dinner at the top of the Stratosphere in Vegas, but I was ok with that as we were away from the window and behind glass. Well done you for confronting your fear!
Awesome cityscape! I would probably want to go there every chance I could to capture the city. I don't suppose it faces east or west to capture sunrise or sunsets. Such an awesome view! Fav
@salza Thanks, Sally! Some people put gas grills out there and grill during spring/summer season. I literally feel like I'll only be able to go out there crawling along the edge of the building, so probably don't really count it as a useable outside. It's not a big balcony, but if only I weren't so afraid, what a place to take photos!
@northy I could imagine you taking advantage of the view and doing some great b&w scenes of the toys. At this point, I have an irrational fear (not so irrational today, actually) of being blown off the roof!
@francoise The winds are howling today! The balcony faces east and north. The one off the bedroom faces north and west. This view is of the west edge of the downtown are to the east and the lake.
Excellent capture, I thought it was done on a tripod, it's so crisp.
