Disappointing to have a cloudy night but I had run taking photos of the full moon anyway. I'm posting two, contrasting ways of looking at the moon. It's influenced by our mentor groups theme of focal length as the focal length (70mm here, 300mm in the other one) really changes the feel.

I like this shot. The clouds add a certain something. I saw the moon rise just enough so I could see the silhouette of a tree, then bang, it was behind the thick clouds. Blood moon tomorrow night and it's supposed to be mostly clear. Maybe I'll get lucky.
This is the one for me - I like that it is a night picture in shades of brown rather than blues and black. I might have liked the other one better had the moon not been obscured - between the two towers perhaps - but, as it stands, this one gets my Fav.
This is wonderful Taffy - had to wait to see it properly on my PC so I could see all the detail!! Another beautiful night shot made extra special with the moon peeping through the cloud and it looks like it has made a spotlight on to of the tower. I am going to miss this view when you move back home!!
I really like this - even though the moon is much smaller - my eye immediately went to it. Like the lighting and color tones here. It all works together so well.
@jyokota Thanks! Nice to see you on the site! We have moving projected date: between May 29 and June 17th. Nothing more specific, but drywall is up and flooring goes in starting this week.
