Finally I was able to go to the hockey game (Jim has been using 'my' ticket to take grandkids so far this year). "My" game: an enthralling 0 to 0 game until the end of the third period when the opposing team scored 2 goals, we were able to get 1, and then it was over. Mostly boring. A highlight was the main guest tonight was Dan Aykroyd of Blues Brothers and Saturday Night Live fame. Between periods he was one of the puck shooters in a game for prizes. The celebrity shoots for someone else or a charity to benefit. I was glad I had my point and shoot with me - kept me entertained during a less than exciting game.
@cazla They usually are very exciting -- lots of fan engagement and great sport skill to watch. This game was a huge exception...really boring and sloppy for the first two periods, despite two really strong teams. So the other hoopla took on more importance to keep fans engaged.
