Lone Fisherman on Barney's Lake by taffy

Lone Fisherman on Barney's Lake

A night on the town in Beaver Island...
1. Dinner at Stoney Acres Restaurant & Pub: white fish wrap and beer (superb)
2. Drop off late license renewal in post office box
3. Decide to wander the cemetery to find oldest gravestone (1836) and funniest saying ("I Told You I Was Sick" on the back of one of the headstones - http://365project.org/taffy/special-photos/2015-07-07 ) (and take pictures) - http://365project.org/taffy/365/2015-07-08
4. Go into town to Daddy Frank's for junior cone combining mint moose tracks (mint ice cream with fudge things) and Michigan mud flats (all chocolate things)
5. Stop at Barney's Lake on way home and take photo of fisherman
Best part: Jim's comment as we were leaving to go into town, when I asked if I should bring my camera. Response: "Of course, don't be foolish." Amazing!
Love this!

LOVE you evening's activity list. I might have to do something like that as well! Not sure it would be as much fun as yours, however!

Super composition. The Ice-cream sounds a splendid treat! My husband usually asks me why I don't have the camera when we go out, if I haven't picked it up!

@olivetreeann I agree -- he was holding up his fish for me to see earlier, but I couldn't get the settings right in time. And then today, at the fish market, the fisherman who runs it invited me back to watch him gut and filet the fish I was buying. I didn't have my camera but want to go back and photograph one that I know I won't be eating later! Too weird...
