Oh yes I can, I discovered this evening if you set up a tripod and act like you are going to take a picture. Everyone that has a cell phone os going to take a selfie in front of what you are trying to shot. I had so much fun tonight watching people using cell phones in the dark while photographers were trying to get a shot.
You're kidding me....you mean you did not pose that guy in that matching outfit??!! Love his rock colored shorts, too, with those skulls on them! You could not have planned it better!
@woodlandsphotog Yep -- the whole thing was fairly lucky, though the shorts were actually a bright blue originally. They wrecked the tone, so I desaturated them, which created the gray. Then decided I liked it better that way in terms of balance of tones. Thanks for noticing!
@panthora Thanks Osia! It was one of those gifts I couldn't believe when I spotted him. His shorts were bright blue, so the LR slider came in handy. And then, when I was done with that tweak, I realized he now matched the rock!
How clever. Lucky that the guy came along, but what great use of desaturation - taking out the blue on his shorts and leaving a shade of grey. Super fun capture!
