Have just arrived Beaver Island after a travel day...time to close down so lots of work re grounds, moving things outdoor things into garage for the winter, etc. Must get out there as snow is predicted this afternoon.

@maggiemae I agree! This was the type of cookie I took for myself when I donated them to the meeting. I selfishly took mine before passing them around!
@redy4et Absolutely! I think Joe is also interested, and I know Junko is. Junko gets in Thursday night and I leave (I am not sure if she does) on Saturday afternoon on a 3:00 flight. I'm flexible anytime after about 2:00 on Friday. I get into CA later Tuesday night and will be at the conference with obligations Wed through lunch on Friday. I really hope we can get together.

@pamknowler Thanks for the fav, Pam! Am learning that editing hundreds of cookie photos is probably not the most exciting thing in the world! But it was such a great experience and I did try different compositions which was fun.
Hi Taffy and Happy Thanksgiving! Just to clarify the date of a possible meet up, will you be in or near Carlsbad, CA on Friday, Dec.4? I'm going to see if I can work that out and will let you know. Any ideas of what you'd like to do?
@redy4et Yes, we get into Carlsbad on Tuesday night, the 1st. Tied up at the conference til 2:00 on Friday. Just emailed Joe and mentioned that you were interested. So is Joy, from what he said. And Junko and me -- and possible one other friend of ours that I'm trying to convince to get involved in 365. In terms of interest...very open. I LOVE your sunset shots, of course, but for me, I would be open to anything -- bridges, ocean/surfers, buildings, wildlife, street photography if someone could give me pointers, really -- it's as much about meeting you in person and having fun together as where we go. I did bring a tripod, just in case. I assume Junko will have hers but am not sure. @jyokota@joysfocus@thirdjoe

@taffy Hi Taffy! Yes Joe told me about your visit. I knew you were coming to California. Was hoping Louise would be back in town but she won't be until the 9th I think. Would love to meet up with you guys. I'll drive up to Carlsbad from work on Friday. Joe said we were meeting at Oceanside Pier? Anyplace is fine with me. I'll keep in touch with him to find out what's going on. Looking forward to meeting you guys!
Oh my, looks so delicious. My blood sugar level just shot up and I didn't even get to try it. Paid the price anyways just looking at this amazing shot. LOL
