No need to comment...more a document shot to remind my to say 'no' next year to photographing the tour officially! This is a small portion of photos already processed. Still many to go, then have to create the collage for each host, and have printed and framed.
You know I was looking into maybe selling some of mine and attended a craft fair to get an idea. I saw how much inventory they had and how exciting it was to sit andc wait for someone who showed interest that I decided not for me. Photography brings me joy and I didn't want to lose that. If i go ou on a photo ride and come back with nothing but lousy pictures no pressure but if you are selling must be awful. Hey retirement should be fun.
Wow...this seems quite a large undertaking, but such a nice idea. Very lucky gardeners to have such a talented photographer providing such individualized collages.
@adi314 8 hours for the event itself; easily 10 hours of processing time so far. Still have another few hours to finish processing, then organize into three categories for each stop: garden, decoration, people. Then meet with the organizer for her input into the photos to put in the gift collages. Make the collages and order them and frames. So, another week of work probably before it's done. They are giving me enough to cover some of the cost of ordering the photos and frames, but probably not enough to cover the full cost.
So much work, I can tell here just to show us these lovelies. This is a beautiful collage & even though they are individual pictures they all slot together nicely without discord. Colours & light make this a fave for me.
I hope they know just how fortunate they are to have you doing all of this for them Taffy. I am quite sure the results will be much loved and admired. But what a lot of work. I don't think people realise that it isn't just a question of taking a few shots and then getting them printed. Well done for your generosity . Look forward to seeing more of what you took.
Such a huge task Taffy! I hope they appreciate all your hard work and generosity! They should be so lucky to have such a wonderful photographer taking their photos! Beautiful collage! Fav!
Good grief - what a job. They are very, very lucky to have you to help them out. Great photos - but you must have been exhausted at the end of the day. :)
This is what doing sports photography feels like for my kids' teams sometimes. I hope they do appreciate your generosity and excellent skills! Great collage.
