Lights Out at the Sears Tower by taffy

Lights Out at the Sears Tower

Flooding is wreaking havoc here and there, with power outages at some key buildings in the city. You can see in the skyline that one of the buildings affected normally dominates the skyline all night. Tonight, it's disappearing after dark! Public television is out, as are some AT&T sites.
No need to comment -- just a document shot.
That's a really good documentary shot - hope the outage doesn't spread further.

hope your building and/or area doesn't get affected. it's rather difficult when it's coupled by electricity shutdown. keep safe and stay safe, miss taffy.

it doesn't look right that that one tower is just a silhouette. i can see the glass lookout, am i right? aces on the shot!

Strange to see the one dark building when everything else is lit. Good thing you live up high. Hope the heavy rains taper off soon.

Well, that's something you don't see very often. Gotta feel for the guy who lives on the top floor - that's a long way to carry the groceries. Hope he didn't buy ice cream.

Regarding what Ron said, Do people actually live in Sears tower? I thought it might be all businesses. I didn't realize you were having so much rain and flooding : (

Golly whizz, this is a super documentary shot Taffy. Sounds like you've had a very bad storm to cause floods and such serious power outages. I do hope that your building wasn't affected.
