stamen

ugh, almost got it ... trying to manually get focus on the stamen and have the whole flower in a good focus ... not quite getting there yet lol. its a little difficult when my eyes are focusing differently almost every day lately, wish they'd make their mind up lol

i have no idea what these flowers are, but they are in my front garden and i decided one was pretty enough to capture. i'm not a huge flower girl, i don't like being given flowers, especially roses....my one weakness is jasmine (purely for the fragrance) and of course my lovely snapdragons :))) not sure why i love them so much, but i'd go weak at the knees if someone gave me a bunch of those hehe ;-)

so, anyone know what flower this is ??

Yup - a hibiscus ... we have lots in our gardens too - I took a photo of one of my buds the other day ...

And impressive manual focusing ... if you want, you can just come to me for affirmation that it's focused - because well, I can't manual focus to save myself and my eyes say it's focused ;)
