As mentioned before that library from yesterday is in a very large, very nice park. It has grass fields for people to play, a dog park for dogs to socialize, basketball courts, jungle gyms, places to play chinese board games, etc.
One special attraction is a big pond. This pond was completed around the end of last year, and since then, they never added water to it. I guess they have been waiting for the rains to do that, and just recently has any sort of water built up in parts of it. Although big sections still remain dry.
This is fine for my dog however. She loves shallow water. For some reason she loves to run around in the water making it splash all around. Jumping in one end, running through the water to the other end, jumping out, then turning around to do it all over again. This photo was taken while she was taking a break and cooling off. I have a few action shots of her tearing through the water, but they are not so clear.
She does not however, enjoy showers, although she seems to understand that when we get back home she has to take a shower, so i'm guessing she just likes running in the water more than she hates showers. also i found out that she hates thunderstorms more than showers. Whenever there is thunder she gets scared and wants to hide under you. Just today during a thunderstorm she actually jumped into the shower while i was showering, to hide from the thunder.
