Flame by tara11

Flame

I'm sitting here with this beautiful candle on my desk (avoiding cleaning off my messy desk and choosing to take some shots instead :)) and was inspired to try some candle shots. So, here's a close-up.

Here's a view of the candle holder:

Thankful Day 18:
I'm thankful that my teenagers both have wonderful sets of small group leaders at church: Godly men who can speak into their lives and guide them in ways that they might not hear from us. So thankful!
I have never seen a shot like this! Awesome, Tara!

I am also interested in astronomy. This photo reminds me of pictures of eta carinae, which is a highly photographed star or pair. Easily found by Google. The way the wick splits in your capture is similar in shape. Very fun!
