one of the best panning shots i've seen around here. the cyclist is perfectly in focus and his speed is so evident in the horizontal blur! aces, tara! aces!

Don't know if you are interested, but Roswell Photographic Society is,wonderful and hosts speakers once a month, many from Showcase as instructors. 1st Tuesday of every month and then 3rd Tuesday of every month is a photography critique night. Join us! Opportunities to show your work and sell it in festivals as well :)
@darylo I would love that! Thanks so much for the information. So, then tomorrow would be the first Tuesday, correct? Where are the meetings? I sold my first prints just last week - 3, 16 x 24 prints. I'd love to get info on festivals and stuff too. Thank you!
@tara11 at Roswell Senior center off Grimes Bridge across from soccer fields. Here is link http://www.roswellphotosociety.org/events/ Meetings are free to attend. Membership is 35 dollars/yr I think. Allows you to submit your work for critique every month too, go on special phot walks and participate in feativals (you have to agree to volunteer though). I'm out of town tomorrow but I'll be at critique. Woukd love to see you regularly!!
@darylo Thank you so much Daryl - I am definitely going to check it out. There's a cool festival coming up but it's the same weekend as my son is moving home from Athens.
