Off Season

Golf season is still 3 months away, but I thought this would make a good image for the minimalist challenge. I had to scout around for a good spot in the yard that didn't have any ice or snow on it.

My next challenge is to see how to get the exif information in the JPG file when I am shooting in raw mode.

It is a great shot with a ton of contrasting textures!
Yeah - this is a global site so different time zones affect the closing time of challenges.

I'm with Mark Twain. Golf is a good walk ruined, but I know I am pretty much alone in that viewpoint!! Nice image. I always enjoy the textures on a golf ball.

I think it would have been fun to take it in the snow! Great minimalist shot.

@sstcowan Maybe I'll try that over the next several days. The snow is not in any danger of melting soon.
