Clematis in Color

My intention was to take a photo for the B&W macro challenge, but I couldn't bring myself to remove the color from this photo.
Not surprised, that purple is so rich

I could not agree more, the colors from the petals and from the core are quite attractive for the eye (including for the insects eye , I suppose). It works well to have the core of the flower on the left of the image and tilted, the eye follows then the soft bumpy leading line that goes away from the core towards the right. The only detail I would have changed is to crop one centimeter from the right in order to get rid of the green spot in the lower right hand corner, I am not sure it adds something to the picture or otherwise it could have been bigger like on top.
