My get-pushed partner challenged me to make a SOOC nature photo--no editing at all.
These water lilies are in three stages of opening. I think it has to do with where the sun hits earliest. With my state cautiously reopening businesses from the coronavirus shutdown, I thought this image fit with the times.
Lisa, lately, I have been shooting only in raw mode, so all my photos get some editing. In the spirit of your challenge, I set my camera to raw+jpg. @homeschoolmom
I tend to edit all of mine at least a little, too. So, sometimes it's fun to go back and try to do it old school. This is beautiful. I think you nailed it.
