We're having the outside of our house painted. This climb is one reason that we hire the job out. Lack of knowledge and skills, and being generally not too handy with home repair is another good reason.
My hubby would be up there - ladders and working at heights don't seem to bother him, but when I do it I always want someone holding the ladder at the base and preferably with a safety net to hand LOL
@casablanca There have been parts of the job where one person holds the ladder while the other climbs. Here, our contractor tied the ladder to some secure anchor point and tested it several times before making the climb.
