Dead tree walking

The Riverside Fire began on September 8, 2020, near Estacada, Oregon, and burned over 138,000 acres in Clackamas County14. It forced evacuations as it approached close to the town and nearby communities. It was only a few miles from my farm when it finally was contained.
Definitely looks like a west coast setting. Excellent

That must have been frightening! It will be interesting to see how nature recovers. Welcome back to 365. Looking forward to your project!

What a contrast- the burnt stump and greenery really stand out against each other. That must have been nerve-wracking with the fire so close.

@olivetreeann thank you Ann, it was the scaredest I've ever been in my life. We had a lot of fire refugees on the farm - four extra horses and a donkey, three cats, two dogs and two extra people, with the air filled with smoke and the fire getting closer. It was awful 😱

@mccarth1 Thanks Kerry! I think it was 10 years ago I did my first 365 project. I've missed you guys!
