I fed this feral cat for a year before it even let itself be seen. She would eat the food I put out but remained hidden. A couple of months ago I took her food out and instead of running off she marched up to me and rubbed against my leg. "Thank you for the food and shelter," she said. We are now bound together for all eternity."
