Arrived home and was able to pay my last visit to my dad
He passed away peacefully the following morning....

My father waited for all kids and all grand kids to show up. But my husband's father waited for kids to NOT be there. Everyone has their own reasoning it seems. Gentle wishes for your family.

So sorry . . .losing a parent is so very difficult and will haunt you with questions for the rest of your life. I have lost both parents and I constantly run things through my head about what I should have said or asked them or how I should have spent more time with them. Praying for you and your family.
