"what was in the Trunk?"... by tellefella

"what was in the Trunk?"...

this old rusty trunk sits beneath a tree in the garden..I came across it many years ago and although empty when I found it, often wonder sometimes where it has been ...and what really ..was in the trunk...
Down memory lane for me! My mother would fill a trunk (so similar to this) with tin food during the year. Then in January we would go camping and that was our food supply! 2 tents, mum, dad and 5 kids!!

The possibilities are endless of what was contained inside, sure at some stage whatever it contained was treasured. What a unique feature in the garden. A great find.

Nice composition, you must have an interesting garden with all these objects around. Love the look of the trunk and a real conversation piece.
