the tiny town of Lucinda in far north Queensland boasts the longest pier in the southern hemisphere ....stretching out 5.76 kilometers it is used to bulk load waiting ships with local sugar...everything around here relates to sugar..cane fields ...cane trains...and sugar mills..some say there's sugar in the blood...
What a simple but stunningly pretty image. The color is wonderful and the line just leads me further into the water to the point I almost missed the person on shore which is a great addition to the photo. FAV
