The Gramophone....do you remember the smell of dusty timber and shellac....and those old shiny black 78's in their paper sleeves....no power back then so you just cranked the handle and away it would spin....drop the heavy needle down onto the record's chipped black rim and listen with joy to the first scratch of a tune...

Great shot - great gramophone! I have my dad's old one that is in a box that you open the lid to use it. Still have the records too :)

Those 78s used to be quite brittle too, I broke a few as a child! Nice shot of the old Gramophone.
