This is looking through the neighbours paddock into the distance at sunset which was very nice tonight. It's the end of a long weekend for Victorians but unfortunately I was rostered to work so no long weekend for me :-(

Hi ya Elaine. I have been to one meeting since becoming a paid member as they only meet monthly. First Monday of the month it is. Good guest speaker who was judging long exposures although he is a landscape and nature photographer. Interesting to listen to him. Next month is an AGM so no guest speaker but the comp is "still life". I had to submit 10 photos for grading and have been put into B grade so I'm happy with that. Going to do baby steps with the whole camera club thing Elaine :-) Thanks for asking. You seem very involved with your photography club. Lots of outings and meet-ups?
@teodw I tend to go out more with friends for photo walks although our new events co-ordinator has put in a fuller programme. I am the secretary for our camera club so yes I am involved which is nice. Sounds like you are going to have a good time. I am also doing the Canon Collective meet ups which has been good too as you can use their equipment. We are going up the Pylon Tower on the Harbour Bridge on Thursday.
@elaine55 So many great photo opportunities around the harbour and it's so much better being with like minded people. We have a Melbourne 365 Facebook page going and sometimes we meet up and go out shooting. Challenging to find a time and place that suits everyone. Can only do what you can do! Always good to put a face to a name though.
Gorgeous warm sunset shot Terrie. I was watching the sunset through the window and was really miffed I wasn't able to get out and shoot it. Bloody kids, lol.

@sewsharyn Howdy, Sharyn, I just walked out into the backyard when I too noticed the sun setting through the window and took a few shots. No thought process or travel involved…hehehe. probably can make the 29th. Not rostered for that weekend so it's looking promising :-)
