This is some of the fireworks from a local school fete held tonight. In the foreground is the Bunyip CFA truck ready for action in case the dry grass lights up from a stray firework spark. I didn't have a lot of time to plan these shots. Many things I would have done different including putting some mozzie spray on myself before I went outside. In this shot, I should have grabbed my mobile phone out of my pocket and used the torch app to light up the truck during the long exposure. Bummer I didn't think of that at the time. Oh well, we live and learn!
Hooray for Friday and having 2 days off work!
Hope your weekend pans out nicely for you too. Cheers.
Hi, Terri, I'm your Get Pushed partner for this week. I enjoy following your project, so I'm going to give you a challenge for something else I enjoy. I love to travel. But having never been to Australia, I want you to play tourist and make for me a collage of 3 or 4 shots of must-see places in your area. Have fun. Can't wait to see what you have to show me!
This one is beautiful as well but I think I still like the b/w one a teeny bit better...it's just so unusual! Thanks for the tip about using your cellphone for added light...why didn't I think of that??? :)
@homeschoolmom I love Lisa's challenge, I will look forward to seeing it too :)
