This photographer was determined to get a shot. He had his little tacker firmly in hand but those rocks were slippery and the waves random. They were very close to the edge of the surf breaking on the rock beds when he set up his tripod. Too close in my opinion. That kid would not have stood a chance had he gone in! Australian surf beaches are notoriously dangerous places for a very good reason!
