Today we travelled back to Cairns from Cooktown via the inland road, passing through Mt Carbine. The scenery coming through the pass was fantastic. This shot is taken through the bus window.
@leestevo we did the Bloomfield Coastal road on the way up to Cooktown Lee-Ann. On a 4WD bus that is a govt service. A bit bumpy but not quite the adventure I remember from 10 years ago because they have made bridges for lots of the river crossings. Still a very pretty drive though.
