Took off today galivanting on the Atherton Tablelands in our little buzzbox hire car. Found a place I thought was just the best!! Granite Gorge, outside of Mareeba is a little oasis of Aussiness. Amazing natural scenery and these little native rock wallabies which eat from your hand. The place is a nature reserve and campground and I think one of those hidden gems. Tomorrow I am going out to the outer reef. Paul has a hip injury from our rafting trip and is hanging around in Cairns.
